BRN is a community-led initiative dedicated to supporting reverts and anyone interested in learning about Islam. The founders are all volunteers and our work is built on compassion, guidance, and providing a safe, nurturing space for personal and spiritual growth. To keep our workshops, events, and outreach projects running smoothly, we rely on volunteers who share our passion for helping others.
How You Can Get Involved
1. Workshop Support
Our workshops cover essential topics for new Muslims and those exploring Islam. Volunteers can help by:
- Assisting with setup and organisation
- Greeting attendees and helping them feel welcome
- Providing one-to-one support or mentoring (become a buddy)
- Helping with refreshments, materials, and logistics
- Offering skills such as delivering workshops, tech and website support, designing posters or admin support
- Getting involved in close of day, farewell and clear up
2. Event Volunteering
BRN runs monthly workshops and community events throughout the year, such as socials, dinners, talks and Eid gatherings. Volunteers can help by:
- Event setup and coordination
- Managing registration and guest support
- Photography or videography
- Distributing materials and information
- Cleanup and closing tasks
Who Can Volunteer?
You don't need to be an expert, just someone who cares. We welcome volunteers who are:
- Friendly, respectful, and reliable
- Passionate about community building
- Able to work comfortably with people from diverse backgrounds
- Interested in supporting reverts and learners on their journey
Training and guidance will be provided where needed.

What Volunteer Vacancies do we have at present?
We are keen to hear from people who are able to help with the Brothers monthly socials that occur every second Sunday of the month between 10am-12pm.
